Product description
The Patagonia Descensionist 40 is a lightweight and robust ski touring backpack, which is ideally suited for backcountry tours and quick tours through snowy landscapes.
It is designed to help you make your way quickly and easily through the mountains, without having to leave your essentials behind. The main material is robust and wear-resistant, without carrying a lot of weight. The practical roll-top adjusts to the packed volume and provides a waterproof seal for the backpack. A complete range of avalanche equipment, consisting of a beacon, a probe, and a shovel, can fit inside the front compartment intended for this purpose, leaving additional space for other equipment and rations in the main compartment. In addition, skis or a snowboard can be attached to the backpack, while there is also space for your helmet and ski poles. The back section of the backpack is highly breathable, to ensure that you feel comfortable on long, strenuous ascents.
With the Descensionist, you can make your way quickly and efficiently to the summit, and every descent will be a blast! With its bluesign-certified fibres and the recycled materials, not only does it impress on account of its high level of performance, but it is also way ahead of the pack in terms of sustainability!
