Product description
Heavily cushioned running shoes with a waterproof membrane
The Clifton 9 GTX from HOKA are made for moderately long distance runs in wet and windy weather. These men’s running shoes feature a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane and an outsole with a relatively good grip for asphalt shoes. With strong cushioning, they are certainly among the more comfortable shoes available and are ideal for daily training runs on the road or the occasional firm forest track. As a result, they are fantastically versatile.
Comfort and stability
The high midsole is made from soft CMEVA foam and provides a heel height of 32 mm with 27 mm in the forefoot area. This results in a 5 mm drop, which is ideal for runners who land predominantly with the forefoot or midfoot. In addition, a special Meta-Rocker construction with the sole arched upwards at the front promotes a dynamic rolling motion for your feet. Plus, the slightly tub-shaped footbed lends greater stability.
All in all, the Clifton 9 GTX are the ideal training shoes for rainy, changeable weather days. They perform their best on wet asphalt.
The advantages at a glance:
- Heavily cushioned running shoes with a waterproof membrane
