Product description
With the North Machine Carbon by Grivel, frozen north faces are a problem of the past! Thanks to its carbon composite shaft, this ice tool is very light and robust at the same time. These characteristics qualify the North Machine Carbon for demanding tours with as little weight as possible, such as technically challenging north faces, icefalls, steep slopes and mixed routes. With its reverse positive grinding, this mixed pick glides through hard ice and firn like a hot knife through butter. It is extremely robust and therefore also suitable for thin ice with rock underneath. In order to meet all requirements, the pick can be replaced if necessary.
Thanks to the G Bone technology, the North Machine Carbon lies well in the hand. Notches make the shaft nice and slim, extremely durable and provide firm grip. Two integrated finger rests, one of them on the end of the shaft, relieve your forearms while the rubber coated handle provides good grip. Grivel’s North Machine is a true high-end product for a wide range of purposes!
